Antonio Castellanos

Welcome to my Website!

I’m Antonio and I am an Assistant Professor of Operations Research and Operations Management at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Business School.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Principal Researcher at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business hosted by Professor Amy Ward. I received my PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Faculty of Data and Decision Sciences (formely IE&M) at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Galit Yom-Tov, and worked closely with Professor Yair Goldberg. During my time at the Technion I conducted research at the SEElab a worldwide hub for research and teaching in Service Engineering.

Research Interests

Areas: Service Operations, AI for Service, Behavioral Operations, Contact Centers, Healthcare

Methodologies: Data Science, Hawkes Processes, Data-Driven Stochastic Modeling, Machine Learning, Queueing Theory, Simulation, Natural Language Processing

Service

I organize the BAM (Business Analytics and Marketing) seminar at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Business School. The seminar brings together faculty across data science, operations research and operations management, and marketing.
